The study produces information on the health and well-being of the foreign-born adult population living in Finland, including their experiences of discrimination. It shows that 29% of immigrants had experienced discrimination on the basis of origin, ethnic background, or colour in the previous 12 months. Of these, 33% were persons who had moved to Finland from the Middle East and North Africa. In this group, 38% were men and 29% women. 5% of immigrants experienced discrimination on the basis of religion in the previous 12 months. The largest group (14%) was persons from the Middle East and North Africa, the rate was 17% for women and 12% for men.
